This week the price is staying the same but you are going to get the added bonus of an SK Modified 40 lap feature added to the already awesome night of racing. We are looking forward to this week’s action in modified divisions.

The points are starting to build and there are several drivers in the SK division that are coming on stronger all the while. There are a lot of guys who could win it and are due for a win as well. The Sk Light division has been a bit of the story of the young guns. Last week with Narducci, Rufrano, Molleur and Teddy Hodgdon being out in front of the group it has been an exciting division to watch. It has also been some pretty clean racing with a strong car count. We hope that the point battle stays close with these guys as right now the top 6 guys are only separated by a 36 point spread.

As always at Stafford when there is a special event or when a tour is in town the normal divisions will not have qualifying races and will be placed off of the handy capping system to start their feature events. The event will start at 6:30 with the Open Modified qualifying heat races. The features scheduled to start at 7 pm. It will be $30 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-14, free for ages 5 and under. The Pit Gate pricing will be $45 for NASCAR Members and $50 for Non-NASCAR Members. For more information about Stafford Motor Speedway click HERE.

WATERFORD CT –6/10/18 The New London-Waterford Speedbowl will have a full night of racing scheduled to take place starting with the Sportsman Feature for 30 laps. The SK Lights will be in action this weekend with a 25 lap feature and only their second event of the season. Also the Late Models for 30 laps, Trucks for 25 laps and SK Modifieds for a 40 lap feature. The night will showcase the Mini Stock division with a 50 lap feature event to take place after the SK race. Finishing off the show will be a compact/Mid-Size Enduro race with the laps TBD depending on car counts.

This will mark the first actually Saturday show for the SK Modifieds. They also are racig Wednesday 6/6 on Wednesday so it will mark their second feature of the 2018 season. We are looking forward to getting back into the groove with the SK’s and hope to have a good car count this weekend.

The racing story of the Bowl as of late on Saturday nights has been that of the Limited Sportsman. We have always loved watching this division at the ‘Bowl. We love the competitive spirit and passion these guys have for winning and putting on a show for the fans. They come to race and race hard they do. We know there is a lot of debate out there on when it is too much when you should or shouldn’t be leaning on the guy next to you as sooner or later it will spark the fire we have been hearing about the last two weeks. This is getting heated between drivers and that division is known for always having a bit of rivalry back and forth. Hopefully, we will see some good on-track battles for the win as that is ultimately what the fans come to see.

To keep up with the latest with Waterford information follow them on social media and you can also stay up to date on their webpage found HERE. We hope to see everyone out at the track this weekend. Lots of action going on, lots of cars expected to be racing at our three tracks alone this weekend. We are stoked that we get to go to FOUR days of Modified racing!! Hope to see you out there!!
