The SK Lights had an eventful week. There were several cautions and unfortunately a large number of cars did not finish the feature this past week. Early in the race, Marcello Rufrano would be out and it would hurt him in the points as now he is down to third in the chase. This weekend The Modified Racing Series will be in action again at Lee Speedway. They will be breaking the race in two 50 lap segments. It will also be a cone race. A cone race means that they can choose if they want to restart in the top or bottom lane by which side of the cone they pick to go by as they line up to restart. It can make for an interesting race if, for example, if the second place guy wants to start low and the leader picked the low line also it would start them actually in P3 on the restart. It adds another level of strategy to the race. It should be an interesting race and on top of the cone race aspect the track owner Norm Wren III has put up $100 to whoever has a higher finishing place between Derek Robbie and Jacob Perry.
